Returns and refunds policy

Effective 19 August 2026.

Incorrect, damaged, unsafe or defective goods

Consumers retain the rights provided by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Where applicable, goods that fail the statutory quality standards may be returned within six months after delivery, without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense, for the consumer’s choice of repair, replacement or refund. If a repair fails within the statutory period, the further remedies in the Act apply.

Cooling-off for qualifying electronic transactions

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 applies, a consumer may cancel an electronic transaction for goods within seven days after receiving them, without reason or penalty. The consumer may be responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods, and a qualifying refund is processed within the period required by that Act.

Items that cannot lawfully be returned as a change of mind

Statutory exceptions may apply, including goods made to a customer’s specifications, clearly personalised goods, goods that by their nature cannot be returned, and goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Any product-specific restriction must be disclosed before purchase and does not remove rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

How to request a return

Email [email protected] with the order number, affected item, reason and supporting information. Wait for return instructions before sending goods. Refunds are made through an agreed, traceable method after the return is assessed, subject always to applicable law.

This policy does not exclude or waive any non-excludable consumer right.
