2kg Co2 Fire Extinguisher

2kg Co2 Fire Extinguisher by Firstaider

The 2kg CO2 Fire Extinguisher by Firstaider is a compact and efficient device. Designed for handling fires involving electrical equipment and flammable liquids. The extinguisher is charged with 2.0 kg of carbon dioxide (CO2). A non-flammable gas that displaces oxygen to extinguish the fire, making it highly effective for such scenarios.

When fully charged, the extinguisher weighs 8.08 kg, indicating a substantial build suitable for its purpose. The empty weight of the extinguisher is 6.08 kg, which helps to understand the net weight of the CO2 gas inside.

Upon activation, the extinguisher discharges its contents over a period of 10 seconds. This rapid discharge is crucial for quickly suffocating flames and minimizing fire damage. The effective range of the discharge is 1 meter, allowing the user to maintain a safe distance from the fire while directing the CO2 precisely where it’s needed.

The extinguisher operates under a working pressure of 5000 kPa, a testament to its robust construction and the high-pressure environment necessary to effectively deploy the CO2. It has undergone rigorous testing, with a hydrostatic test pressure rated at 2500 kPa.
